ABOUT ME!

Moira/Moi [they/them] is a Latinx Photographer and Visual Artist based in Belfast. As well as an upcoming graduate from the BSoA [BA (Hons) Photography with Video].

In the past, their work has explored themes of gender and cultural identity, environmental issues and human connection.

Moi’s current practice explores memory, nostalgia, materiality and our relationship to obsolete technologies. Their latest project, ‘Glimpses’ explores this relationship through visual installation.

Commercially, their practice has primarily focused on concert/live music as well as digital and analogue street photography.

Their work has featured in publications such as PUNCTUM PUBLISHING, 17:23 Magazine, and Source. Magazine. Moi’s work has also been exhibited in galleries such as the Belfast School of Art and PS2.
